About The AEN Award of Excellence

Established in 1989, the AEN Award of Excellence recognizes outstanding dedication and exemplary service. This award was created in the name of Frank Johns, a former Executive Vice-President of the Calgary Real Estate Board. Frank was a mentor and leader among Executive Officers and freely shared his expertise and wisdom for the betterment of the industry throughout his long career. In December, a call for nominations is put out to the REALTOR® community as any member of the Canadian Real Estate Association. A Selection Committee is responsible to review all applications to ensure nominees meet the rigorous criteria of the award.

In recognition of her outstanding achievement, CREA has made a donation in Marina’s name to her charity of choice, East Beaches Animal Services.
